The Education Showroom is proud to partner with Peili Vision, the creators of EFSim, a scalable, evidence-based digital tool designed to identify ADHD traits and executive functioning challenges in children aged 8-13. EFSim uses a web-based, interactive environment where children complete everyday tasks – organising routines, managing time-sensitive activities, and following multi-step instructions – guided by an animated avatar.
Unlike traditional screening, EFSim provides a rich, needs-based profile rather than a simple yes/no outcome. Detailed reports compare performance against normative reference groups, helping SENCOs, teachers, clinicians, and parents understand strengths and challenges, and implement targeted interventions at school and home.
EFSim is easy to deploy across schools, requiring only internet access and a computer. Validated in over 100 Finnish schools with around 10,000 children, it is now helping schools across the UK by providing objective, actionable data to support EHC plans, referrals, and classroom strategies.
