Designed specifically for special schools, Earwig makes it quick and simple for classroom staff, therapists and SENDCos to record powerful learning moments as they happen. Using the software and mobile app, staff can capture photos, videos and observations in real time, building rich evidence records that bring each pupil’s journey to life. These can be shared with families or used to create visual timelines for pupils, classes and subjects. Pupils can even log in themselves to record achievements, supporting independence and engagement.
Earwig goes beyond evidence capture to support robust, meaningful assessment. With over 400 assessment frameworks available, teachers can set targets, track progress, identify next steps, generate detailed reports and analyse trends across cohorts. Frameworks can also be customised around individual EHCP outcomes, ensuring assessment remains personalised and purposeful.
