Online Event Details
The Education Showroom is proud to partner with Tatty Bumpkin, the UK’s longest-running yoga-inspired programme for Reception and KS1, supporting movement, mindfulness and wellbeing through a unique methodology developed over more than 20 years.
Tatty Bumpkin offers a one-day online training and a complete, ready-to-use resource package designed to give EYFS and KS1 staff everything they need to deliver high-quality sessions with confidence. The training is fully accessible to teachers, TAs, support staff and wellbeing leads, introducing the core principles of the programme and showing how to support key areas of physical development including coordination, sensory integration, postural control and self-regulation.
Alongside the training, schools receive over 200 downloadable resources, including detailed lesson plans, curriculum links, parent communications, activity guides and weekly social media posts to support consistent engagement with families. Sessions can be delivered as full 30-minute lessons or used as short movement breaks throughout the day to aid regulation, calm transitions and refocus learning.
Tatty Bumpkin sessions blend story, movement and mindfulness to build body awareness, strengthen physical skills, develop language and support emotional regulation. The approach is inclusive, practical and easy to embed into existing PSHE, PE and wellbeing provision.
