Cubbie offers a practical way to support inclusion in every school across your trust. It helps schools deliver, measure, and expand inclusion by providing structured sensory-regulation support that keeps students in class and improves measurable outcomes. Cubbie is the only sensory-regulation platform built to work across Universal, Targeted, Targeted Plus, and Specialist Provision, giving multi-academy trusts one consistent way to support regulation and access to learning across the full continuum of need.
Instead of each school creating its own sensory room or crisis response, Cubbie gives trust leaders a central dashboard with real-time data on usage and outcomes from every school. This makes it easy to show inclusive practice and early intervention directly to Ofsted, while also supporting attendance, behaviour, SEND, staff workload, and wellbeing across the trust.

Each session is timed and structured, helping pupils self-regulate and get back to learning in 10 minutes or less. Sessions can be used before behaviours escalate, during dysregulation, or after incidents to help with recovery and reintegration. An independent study by the University of Galway, which looked at over 154,000 sensory sessions and 4,000 learner profiles, found that 84% of sessions were successful, and 75% of users were regulated by their sixth session.
Cubbie brings together the physical environment, personalised OT-designed programmes, staff training, and usage data into a shared framework and governane model with common language for every school in the trust. This approach reduces the need for reactive interventions and expensive specialist placements, helps pupils who move between schools, and supports SEND Reform and Inclusive Mainstream Fund goals. It gives trust leaders a sustainable, scalable, and proven way to build inclusion across all schools.
What Do Senior Leaders Say About Cubbie & The Significant Impact Their Products Are Having Within Their Schools
“The Cubbie has been a fantastic installation at Lime Wood Primary School and has already made a significant impact on the wellbeing and inclusion support we provide for our pupils. The personalised sensory wellbeing solution has created a safe, calming, and engaging space where children can self-regulate, reset, and return to learning ready to participate positively in the classroom. The ability to tailor experiences through sensory portraits and targeted sensory regulation support has been particularly valuable for our neurodivergent pupils and those requiring additional emotional support. Since introducing the Cubbie, we have seen improvements in participation, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing across the school environment. Staff have also benefitted from having a consistent and effective early intervention solution that helps reduce disruption and supports inclusion in a meaningful way. The Cubbie is far more than just a sensory pod — it has become an important part of our inclusive practice and commitment to creating an environment where every child can thrive.”
Claire Ingrams — Headteacher, Lime Wood Primary School, part of Woodland Academy Trust
“The installation of a Cubbie at Redwood Primary School has had an immediate positive impact. The programmes ensure key targeted children receive tailored, timely support. For children with additional needs, periods of dysregulation have significantly decreased and the Cubbie means we are better able to meet their needs proactively rather than reactively.”
Lucy Clark — Deputy Headteacher & SENDCo, Redwood Primary School
