The Education Showroom is proud to partner with iRock School of Music, bringing high-energy rock and pop band lessons into primary schools to boost confidence, wellbeing and a love of learning.
iRock provides 30-minute weekly band sessions led by professional musicians, where children learn real instruments, play in a band and perform together. Each session is designed to build teamwork, social skills and resilience, helping pupils to settle, make friends and express themselves in a safe, creative environment.
To get started, iRock offers a free live music assembly: a high-impact, in-school performance where pupils help build a band on stage and see how they can play together in minutes. After the assembly, parents receive clear information about how to sign up for ongoing rock and pop band lessons.
iRock makes music exciting, inclusive and memorable and quickly becomes the highlight of the school week.
What do schools say about iROCK?
Our children have improved confidence and teamwork skills thanks to their iRock sessions and concerts.
Music co-ordinator, 2025
iRock sessions have positively impacted the children by improving their musical skills, confidence, teamwork, creativity, discipline, and emotional wellbeing. For some, it also appears to have enhanced their memory, concentration, and ability to express themselves.
