Transform Your School’s Mental Health and Wellbeing in Just Ten Minutes a Day: Empowering Pupils Through Social-Emotional Learning with The Happy Confident Company

The Education Showroom is excited and honoured to announce its partnership with The Happy Confident Company, a pioneer in the field of social-emotional learning.

With a passion for creating a world where all children are equipped with the character skills to cope with the pressures they face, and thrive, The Happy Confident Company has already impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of children globally.

JUST 10 MINUTES A DAY!

Working in partnership with a selection of schools, therapists, education experts, teachers and children, their clinically-approved programme has been developed to fit into the school day in only 10 minutes and has been proven to deliver hugely positive results within weeks.

The Happy Confident Company understands the vital role schools play in supporting children’s mental health, and their Schools Programme provides the thoroughly planned and resourced tools that they need to succeed in promoting pupil mental health and well-being.

With a focus on teaching life skills such as self-regulation, self-belief, resilience, and compassion, the programme not only reduces teacher workload but also promotes positive behaviours in schools. Schools using the programme over the past 12 months report:

  • Improved pupil behaviour and readiness to learn
  • Reduced need for interventions
  • Reduced levels of anxiety
  • Increased student empathy and compassion
  • Improvement in pupil levels of confidence
  • Reduced teacher requirement for CPOMS
  • Increased levels of pupil self-regulation

A growing body of research demonstrates that social-emotional learning improves mental health and well-being and contributes to academic success. A Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) study found that pupils who participated in evidence based SEL programmes showed a 13-percentile point gain in academic achievement compared to pupils who did not participate in SEL programmes. By focusing on developing emotional intelligence and resilience, The Happy Confident Company’s Schools programme supports children’s mental health and contributes to their academic performance.
