Meet the team
Managing Director and Co-Founder
Catherine Belchamber
As Managing Director, Catherine is responsible for the day-to-day running of The Education Showroom including managing all enquiries, sales, marketing, customer service and hosting the showcases.
Catherine’s Background
After completing her BSc (Hons) Psychology and an MSc (Hons) in Education, Catherine knew she had a huge passion for education and for helping schools to operate efficiently and effectively but most importantly to help students reach their full potential.
Following this passion, Catherine worked as a teaching assistant in a Special Educational Needs College before starting her role at School Business Services where she was an Account Manager supporting schools with acquiring new financial forecasting software. Looking for the next step in her career, Catherine joined Applicaa, an Edtech start-up as a Regional Sales Manager spreading the word about their digital admissions software which saves schools significant amounts of time and money.
During her roles, Catherine has worked in partnership with several education supply companies including reseller agreements and marketing partnerships. From an early stage, it was clear to Catherine that the choice of suppliers, services and products on the market was huge, from literacy and numeracy suppliers through to metacognition, through to back office finance and operations systems.
There was no doubt that with senior leaders in schools becoming more strapped for time and with budgets becoming ever more challenging, schools were at risk of inefficient procurement and therefore inefficient spending.
This propelled Catherine’s passion for helping schools engage with the most effective products and solutions and to use their budget in the most effective and strategic way.
Marketing Manager
Jagoda Mizera
As Marketing Manager, Jagoda is responsible for implementing innovative marketing strategies and developing strong rapport with top industry-leading educational suppliers and connecting them with school and MAT leaders who are looking to optimise and enhance their organisation.

In her role as a Sales Development Representative, she excelled in spreading the word about their cutting-edge admissions platform, empowering schools to streamline their processes and achieve significant cost savings.
During her tenure at Applicaa, Jagoda not only found her passion for education but also discovered her passion for marketing. She transitioned into the role of Marketing Executive, where she played a pivotal role in devising and executing digital and traditional marketing strategies. Her responsibilities encompassed everything from email and direct-mail campaigns to social media management, content creation, and video marketing.
With her proven expertise, she advanced to the role of Demand Generation Manager, taking the lead in orchestrating internal and external events, both virtual and in-person.
Driven by her passion for education as well as marketing and events, Jagoda couldn’t resist the opportunity to join The Education Showroom when it presented itself. Jagoda is motivated to find the top industry leading educational suppliers and connect them with school and MAT leaders who are looking to optimise and enhance their organisation.
