Participants learn to create a safe and containing space to work with individuals safely and non-intrusively over a 12-week intervention period. The focus on building healthy attachments and processing trauma leads to symbolic resolution, ultimately resulting in improved self-esteem and emotional wellbeing.

The advanced knowledge training takes participants deeper into the world of Drawing and Talking, delving into recurring patterns and symbolism in drawings and advanced Jungian theory. It also equips practitioners with 3 additional therapeutic techniques to add to their toolkits: sandplay, emotional group work and directed group work – allowing more children to benefit from therapeutic intervention.

Drawing and Talking goes beyond training; it fosters continuous professional development through annual membership, offering coaching calls and exclusive resources. Members also benefit from significant discounts on additional courses and programs.

With over 20 years of experience, Drawing and Talking’s commitment to improving the mental health of individuals is evident. Our mission to offer safe, effective and accessible therapeutic interventions makes us a valuable asset in the mental health in schools landscape.

Ignite a Love of Writing Research Group

Over recent years, maths and reading have had plentiful resources and training available, however the same cannot be said for writing. What there is seems to be focused on getting children to jump through grammatical hoops, rather than developing a true love for writing.

Ignite a Love of Writing is driven by passionate individuals who are keen to support schools in fostering a rich writing culture. Through research groups which allow educational professionals to share inspiring practice, we grow leadership capacity and empower teachers to develop creative writing curricula. We support you to ignite a genuine love of writing in your classrooms.

Our model maps a child’s entire journey as a writer through your school. It is about nurturing a whole school writing culture where pupils feel encouraged to explore their creativity, take risks and shape their craft. We support you in nourishing gifted writers from early on, enabling them to progressively flourish through exciting opportunities.

Ignite a Love of Writing recognises that each school is unique and our research groups coach professionals to explore, adapt and strive in a curriculum that is right for you. We offer a long-term strategy and investment that will benefit both staff and students.

Writing is a subject with many strands; the curriculum is vast and deep subject knowledge is needed. Ignite a Love of Writing believes that writing is more than just a subject though: it is a journey of self-expression and creativity which has the potential to open so many doors for your children.

We are on a quest to reclaim the love of writing.

J & G Marshall Ltd is a company created to help schools not just understand the academy conversion process, but to navigate successfully and effectively through it.

Our approach is, however, based on more than just the outcome. As nearly all J&G Marshall staff sit on Trust Boards and governing bodies, our founder has been a primary school Chair of Governors for over 23 years and a governor for over 29 and is also MAT Trust Member, we see the process from the point of view of the schools, not the policy makers.
We appreciate that there is lots of conflicting information about academy conversion. We know that trying to determine whether your school should consider creating an academy trust with other schools or be part of a larger MAT poses questions that most school leaders have never had to face.
What schools need is independent advice that enables and facilitates them to make the right decision for their school, and then guidance as to how to make that decision a reality.
With over 280 academy conversions to our name, J & G Marshall has that expertise.
Furthermore, our support grows with you. We have the credentials and experience to help MATs grow and flourish. We can highlight your strengths and signpost areas to develop before they become critical concerns. This understanding is a vital part of a healthy academy trust.
Our aim is to be a long-term partner, allowing educationalists to focus on outcomes, and our team of experts to ensure the framework is in place for your school and MAT to flourish.

Francesca and Paolo founded Language Angels in 2012 and since then the team has expanded to include an ever-growing number of foreign language teaching professionals, linguists and tech experts.

Francesca has spent more than 25 years teaching languages through all the educational key stages. She has held numerous leadership roles from Head of Department and Teaching & Learning Mentor to Advanced Skills Teacher for Languages in one of London’s largest boroughs.

Our team at Language Angels currently includes eight of Francesca’s previous students who went on to study languages at university and are now an integral part of our Language Angels family. We have teachers on the team who have spent many years teaching languages using our resources and now offer our users advice, support and guidance to ensure they get the very most from every one of their language lessons.

Together, the Language Angels team support an ever-growing number of primary schools around the world, aiding their staff to embed and sustain foreign languages in their schools using Language Angels as their primary languages teaching platform.

At Language Angels we have a very clear aim: We want to ensure every child at primary school has a real opportunity to learn a foreign language, irrespective of where they live, stretched school budgets and lack of subject specialism. We know these may not be ideal conditions but we continue to prove it can be done and done well. We know that, together with the brilliant primary school teachers that use our platform, we can reverse earlier trends of poor foreign language acquisition and can help produce future generations of linguists. Importantly, we can do this without adding to the workload or stress levels of teachers.

Together we will build solid language learning foundations at primary level so a passion for languages and subsequent linguistic success will follow.

The Language Angels team regularly speak at conferences and present webinars on primary language teaching.

Make Music Count is a maths curriculum and app taught through playing songs on the piano.

We were founded in 2013 and have served over 70,000 students throughout the US.

The way that Make Music Count works is 7 – 18 year old students solve maths equations where the answers are musical notes. Once all the questions are answered, the notes are highlighted on the piano. Students then play their answers on the virtual keyboard while the original song streams in parallel.

Through this experience, students’ maths engagement, confidence and performance in mathematics increase, all while playing the piano at the same time!

Sir Linkalot – an award-winning spelling app that dyslexia associations have called groundbreaking  (‘Utterly brilliant!’ – Stephen Fry)

Sir Linkalot is a fun and innovative award-winning app for spelling tricky words, from was to onomatopoeia. Many dyslexia associations endorse the product and students, whose mother tongue isn’t English, have said that taking words off the page and animating them in this way is knocking down barriers as English is far from a phonetic language.
Here are a couple of clips to show you what it’s all about   Sir Linkaot – Taster video   (the children’s reactions are priceless)   And the winner is…  (dad-dancing warning)
Ruth Miskin says that ‘Read, Write Inc’ and ‘Sir Linkalot‘ are a perfect marriage as she has nothing for her 147 red/sight words.  So, there’s no clash with phonics programmes; it complements them.
It isn’t solely for spelling, however. There are animations for homophones, spelling rules, letter strings, punctuation, grammar, parts of speech, prefixes, suffixes and the origin of words, as told by Lady Lexicographer (Countdown’s Susie Dent!). Other subjects will follow, starting with Maths. The Times Tables bundles are being extremely well-received.
Take a look at this (he gives a ringing endorsement at the end)  Stephen Fry is a spellebrity!
It has never been done before to this extent and that is why it’s caught the attention of the government, including the MoJ, as many prisoners are neurodiverse.

At Teacher Tapp, we’ve been taking the pulse in schools for the last five years. Our original mission was (and still is) to take answers and put them at the heart of positive change – especially focused on policymakers. We are an education consultancy that works with individual schools, school groups and government authorities to help them develop metacognitive learners across their organisations. We do this by:

  1. Supporting leadership teams to roll out their metacognition initiatives
  2. Working with teaching staff to integrate metacognitive strategies into their pedagogy.
  3. Offering a range of metacognitive tools designed to support independent, reflective learners.

Our approach is suitable to schools whichever curriculum they follow, whatever their size or context. We offer training both online or in-school, whichever is most appropriate. Whilst we have developed a model that supports schools seeking to become Exeter University accredited Thinking Schools, we also offer bespoke training and access to our tools depending on a school’s individual requirements.

A Confederation of School Trusts recognised supplier and Multi-Academy Trust Association staff wellbeing partner, providing The Welbee Way, a unique approach covering three key steps.

1. Measure (and Track) Staff Wellbeing
Measure using an anonymous and evidence-built survey, independently evaluated for its psychometric qualities, and recognised by the DfE Education Staff Wellbeing Charter. Benchmarks show comparisons with others who have taken the survey, and granular measurement (including by school and job role), make the tracking of progress easy.

2. Take Action
A MAT dashboard provides an overview of wellbeing scores across the trust by school, department, job role, and other key criteria, meaning good practice can be easily shared and trust leaders know where to focus energy and effort. Each school and the central team has their own dashboard, complete with recommended actions and the ability to collect and respond to staff comments. No waiting for analysis means changes can be quickly implemented and a report and PowerPoint is available to share with staff, trustees, and other important stakeholders.

3. Embed Wellbeing Into the Culture
Post survey and year-round actions are supported by the 150+ resource Wellbeing Toolkit, helping leaders better support the wellbeing of those they lead, and all staff better look after themselves. Content is specifically written for those working in education and all staff get access to NebulaAi — the world’s first AI wellbeing assistant for educators.
