First4Maths have developed a programme of learning that can be implemented from Nursery to Year 6 that gives ownership to your teachers while providing them with excellent subject knowledge training, showing them how to teach each concept confidently, from using Concrete resources to challenging at Greater Depth.
First4Maths Academy is a platform which has been developed to ensure that you have access to all of the training and support you need to secure staff subject knowledge and equip teachers with the confidence to deliver an effective and inspiring mathematics curriculum. Membership to this platform includes monthly Zoom calls for every year group from Nursery to Year 6, a complete planning, assessment and training package for Nursery and Reception, Subject Knowledge training for every objective in Years 1-6, training for Subject Leaders and Teaching Assistants and pre-recorded interventions to use with children who have gaps in their mathematical understanding.

18:00: Interview with Toni Priddey (Managing Director) – We learn all about First4Maths, First4Maths Academy, their journey, their vision and how they help and support nurseries, primary schools and MATs across the country. We also dive into key areas including impact studies and data.
18:15: First4Maths will facilitate three themed breakout rooms and invite you to attend each of these themed rooms for 12 minutes each. These themed online rooms will showcase a variety of impactful and affordable services and solutions they provide.
18:50: On completion of the three themed breakout rooms, you will be invited back into the communal online meeting room where we will have a live Q&A session. This empowers you to ask Toni and her team any questions you may have.
